The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

So, here is my first book review. The book: The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

This book is about a troubled boy who is trying to fit in. He manages to acquire a group of frends who are older than his 16 years but love him all the same. The rest of the book is him trying to figure things out. Who is he, why do these things happen etc. There's some drugs, sex and drinking but, nothing over the top or dirty.

I was told before I started the book that it was disturbing. I started reading ready for some interesting drama and action. And, I have to say I was disappointed. I didn't want it to be disturbing in the sense that there are people who get raped and die but, disturbing enough to urge you to read more. Towards the end, it deffinately gets better. The Epilogue is the best part. And if you ever get the chance, take the time to read it. You'll regret it if you don't.

In my opinion, it wasn't the best book I've ever read. It's up there in my favorites, for sure. I know people who absolutely adore it. And you never know, you could too.

It was a great book. I was just disappointed because I was told it was much greater than I found it to be.

This book gets 4 stars.

Stay tuned for more word on the street.

Hello and Welcome

Hey guys, and welcome.

I think this will be my first official blog. I've had many different accounts on many different websites but, I find that I never really stick to them. I can't tell you how many usernames I've had to create to be a part of the elite underworld of bloggers. Sometimes, I just get this urge to write. And when I actually sit down to write, nothing comes to mind. I think this blog will help me rid myself of that problem.

I have a couple of started stories. If I ever manage to finish them, I'll probably end up posting them in shortened chapters. But, for the most part, this place will be filled with book and movie reviews. I love saying what I hated and loved about each book I read.

So, until the next urge, stay gold guys.
And, stay tuned for more word from the street.
Later days.
